John Krakauer's Into Thin Air is a great book. He tells his story of climbing up the Monstrous Mt. Everest. Not only does he tell about the mind blowing events he encounters, he also talks about the negative moments. To me this is what makes it so realistic because climbing Mt. Everest wouldnt be like a fairy tale. There are alot of different things that can go wrong, such as sickness, avelanches, & the chance of falling to your death. Krakauer speaks alot about the different types of sicknesses that the people around him are encountering, and with some of them they dont only put that person in danger, they can put the whole group in danger. This book isn't all negative though, it is definately one i recommend for other readers.
